My Caffeine Withdrawal with Emily Kinney

Ron Pope

Episode Summary

Ron Pope has managed to build an impressive career, and massive fan following all over the world completely independent. First by rallying fans by posting music on myspace and asking for their support. Eventually, Ron and his wife formed their own record label, Brooklyn Basement Records. Ron and I both spent a lot of time in NYC and have some mutual friends, but we really connected after running into each other at a coffee shop called Dose in Nashville. I was so happy to not only catch up but also learn more about Ron’s experience in the music industry.
